particular etsy favorites

here are some of my personal favorite etsy sellers:

animal crackers by mj keeton

This is my absolute favorite piece of hers and sadly for me (good for her!) it's sold out. But it was the one that made me fall in love with her work.

next up is little black forest.

I want to own one of these in the worst way. Her other work is just as great too.

Here's another super talented lady: san fran 67.

Isn't that just gorgeous? I have a special fondness/weakness for super detailed work and this is a perfect example.

There's another women on etsy that does these paper sculptures whom I love as well: molly jey.

next on my really long list is melabo. I do not have the proper words to describe how amusing, fanciful, imaginative, etc I find her work. The first 2 pictures are of my all time favorite piece that she makes but is sold out of. The 3rd picture is available in her shop.

Love, love, love her work.

I'll post more soon.

whimsy

I am so envious of people that can sew clothes. I'm trying to teach myself but every time I start to read a pattern, my head puts up this impenetrable block. But I will keep trying especially after I see stuff like this:

Both are from sugar city journal. Not only do they make the cutest, almost whimsical clothes, the pictures themselves are just flat out amazing. Here's more of their amazing-ness:

first dose of eye candy

The Small Object does is again. She really does have the market on cute. I want a set of these "wooden hanger pals". You can buy them right here in her shop. I'm also hearting these:

more later.

greetings and salutations

Welcome to my teeny, tiny corner of this world.

The main reason for this blog is to shine little spot lights on some of the super talented people in the crafting world that have caught my fancy. I spend an exorbitant amount of time online looking and reading other crafty peoples blogs, following their links to new and sometimes magical websites, and am constantly inspired, amazed, awe struck, etc.. at the things people make. So, instead of just emailing my sister a million emails that say "oh my god, will you look at this" I thought I would start a blog and "email" many people at the same time. With the advent of the crafting boom, it has become almost impossible to see all of whats out there. So I'm hoping to, in my small way, showcase as much as I can. And if I ever get my crap together, showcase myself.

I hope you enjoy what for me is a daily dose of eye candy.

truly yours,
susie
